Visual Merchandiser

Tex-On Ltd is a subsidiary of Manjoo Group and will be launching a global fashion retail brand that is the market leader in 22 of the 56 countries where it is present. It offers quality fashion at affordable prices.

We are recruiting Visual Merchandiser for our first store which will be located in Tribeca Mall (Ebene).

Position Objective

Reporting to the Store Manager and Area VM, you will be responsible for creating an inspiring commercial in-store experience by planning and executing brand standards consistently for a cohesive customer journey through all phases of a season.

Key Duties

• Execute visual merchandising of the store in line with corporate guidelines, including timely implementation of daily/weekly and seasonal activities, and promote new lines effectively.
• Communicate with Store Manager and store team to plan for upcoming visual activities and campaigns of the company, training sales assistants to establish effective visual merchandising routines.
• Work closely with HQ VM Team to establish corporate visual standards and ensure best practice in the store.
• Ensure all visual materials (signage, fixtures, mannequins etc.), layouts and displays are arranged in line with corporate guidelines.
• Help with supervision and VM audit of the store and provide feedback regarding sales, execution and accuracy of VM updates.

• Retail Experience in similar position, passion for trends and fashion
• Customer-oriented with strong communication and people skills
• Dynamic, energetic, resourceful and positive.
• Highly organised and able to multi-task under pressure
• Creative with attention to detail (product, lines, colours, displays)
• Team player, building trust and continuous learning

Other Requirements

• Fluent in French and English (spoken and written)
• Computer literate
• Well groomed
• Residing in the regions surrounding Port Louis, Moka and Plaine Wilhems
